Another experience today with my Blackberry Q10's 10.3 leaked hybrid OS against the Galaxy S4... android apps: works faster and loads faster on the Q10... instagram, Flipboard, MyfitnessPal, you name it! Very impressed.

Oh and I love the 10.3 UI

I find that hard to believe but it's your impression. Android apps do not load very fast at all on my Q10. Not undo able, but not as fast as on my Nexus 5.

Had the same issue, but on the 10.3 leaked OS no, instagram opened and loaded faster than the S4.

The 10.3 hybrid. It's a mixture of 10.3.296 with something. Heard it's the best for the Q10.

I'm actually more inclined to believe it when it's Samsung touch wiz

That Touchwiz is slowing it down? That is probably very true. Good point.

For straight up communication needs I like my Q10 best. If I feel like playing around, it's Android.

I've had an S4, it was ok but the battery life was not great.
I have decided to NOT put any Android apps on my Q10. I had one Android app on it for a few days, it took forever to open and my battery life went down so I deleted it.
If I need apps, I use my iPad or my iTouch, but my Q10 will remain pure Blackberry. It is faster than any phone I've ever had, it has absolutely zero problems, it's perfect.
I'm not messing with a good thing.

That said, if I didn't have my iPad and iTouch to back me up for apps, I might feel differently.

I was blackberry apps strictly. But since I downloaded the 10.3 I installed apps, and from there battery is improved (very much) and android apps work smoothly.

Check on youtube the video of itsmeJC showing the difference between 10.2.1 and 10.3 and he shows how android apps load on both devices.

Yea used my buddy's old Huawei or something like that. Running 4.3? And it was decently fast. My z10 could keep up so I do feel like BlackBerry need to iron out 3things with runtime and it might be a much more marketable idea
    1. Run smooth. Sometimes you switch android app and for a second the old app is on the new screen
    2. Battery consumption and giving users control. When I close an app and it's still running. ... makes z10 battery terrible than it really is
    3. Iron out the failures to not work. I understand limitations with GPS but almost every other app should run as good. I'm more inclined to believe better specs might be an improvement in that regards though

I've seen the video before. Sure 10.3 loads apps quicker than 10.2.1.

You are saying that apps load quicker than an s4. I want to see a video of that.
