I'm a proud blackberry owner. I appreciate what the blackberry is and isn't. But with the recent advancements of android, the upcoming windows phones, and the revitalization of the palm pre by dell, where does the blackberry stand among all fo them.
Yes blackberry is still tops in the corporate world for all the blackberry reasons. But for a consumer who uses a blackberry as a way to keep organized and want an efficient pda phone to do it is blackberry still the best choice?
If there were another smart phone made with a diff os (eg windows or android) that had very similar form factors as blackberries do but had better hardware specs, then why should I stay with blackberry? I've been asking myself that question and I resorted to the answer that blackberry was the only company that used true push date technology that makes messaging and data apps more efficient to use, hence saving battery life and messaging reliability.
The real question is how does the blackberry push network compare to the iphone's "push" email system or other operating systems for that matter such as android and the windows mobile phone.
Sorry for the novel of a question, would appreciate anyone's input.
