And then they would totally mess up the pricing big time. Not to sound negative or anything, but the prices on most of their handsets have already caused lots of people to be put off from buying their phones.

BlackBerry is a exclusive brand, it should act like one and start pricing every phone a $1000--making it more expensive than Apple's iPhone and thus all the rich kids will want one (assuming they run Android with ridicules specs).

Beef a phone up with high specs that people won't even use a fraction of and watch how people will easily spend a $1000 for. BlackBerry should do the same but I don't know why they haven't yet. Even their Priv is trailing last against Samsung and Apple due to their specs, not the price.

I don't know, they might as well charge whatever they want for Porsche phones. People dense enough to buy them shouldn't be trusted with money, anyway.
