Blackberry Plans & Monthly Service
- I am just curious to know what other Blackberry owners are paying a month for their service? Who is your service through? And what is your monthly bill?
If this is too invasive for some, that's fine you don't have to answer. I'm just curious about other Mobile companies & what all of us Blackberry owners are really paying & are we getting what we pay for??
The plan I have is as follows:
PA & WV unlimited calling to any number: $55.00
Blackberry Personal Package: $30.00
Unlimited Messaging (includes Sms & Mms): $20.00
Equipment Insurance: $4.99
Taxes & Government Fees: $3.47
So I pay about $113.00 a month for these services.
Thanks in advance for any input I may receive.04-14-10 03:23 PMLike 0 - I use a family plan with my parents, with my blackberry and my father's. It comes to about $180.00 monthly on Verizon. This includes the 500? minutes, texting package, blackberry data and insurance on my phone, and blackberry data on my father's phone.04-14-10 03:29 PMLike 0
- We (Me & my 3 kids) have had AT&T for a couple of years, then my oldest daughter decided she HAD to have a Tour so she switched to Verizon...My agreement with her was that I would pay the bill until she graduated from college. Well she graduates next month!!!
Her Verizon bill is OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Here's her plan:
Nationwide text & talk 900 minutes: $79.99
Blackberry Unlimited Package: $44.99
Insurance: $7.99
Taxes & Fees: $5.00
Her bill every month is about $138.00
I think it's absolutely ridiculous!!04-14-10 03:40 PMLike 0 - We (Me & my 3 kids) have had AT&T for a couple of years, then my oldest daughter decided she HAD to have a Tour so she switched to Verizon...My agreement with her was that I would pay the bill until she graduated from college. - Boost mobile, unlimited nationwide talk text and data $60 a month, no contract. But I did pay $249 up front for the 8330 curve. But I gotta say this much, where I'm at (Seattle) the coverage has been great and so far the service has been outstanding. The only thing I don't get is BES and conference calling, but I don't use them anyway. So the trade off has been more than worth it.

Sprint Everything? Family 1500
1500 min to share
unlimitied data, and messaging
runs 129.99/mo
insurance 7/mo each (14)
taxes and such about 5-7
our bill is around $150 a month for the two of us04-14-10 05:25 PMLike 0 - The wife and I have a family plan on Sprint. She hardly uses the data, and doesn't have a berry, but its still pretty reasonable:

You may be able to take a percentage off you bill. And also, you Amy be eligible through your employer. I have sprint and am on the 1500 min family plan with unlimited data and messaging. Blackberry data included with 2 lines. The monthly cost is $129 but I get 25% off my monthly bill through my employer so my bill comes to about $115 a month after taxes and insurance on both lines.04-14-10 06:25 PMLike 0

- AT&T Family Shared plan 1400 minutes (I think) with Rollover.
There are 5 phones on our plan, four of which are BlackBerries. We've got the unlimited BB data service for three of them (one is an old T-Mobile Pearl), and $20 for unlimited texting across all phones.
I think we pay about $210 monthly? For all five phones, I don't think that's too bad...04-14-10 06:43 PMLike 0 - AT&T Family Shared plan 1400 minutes (I think) with Rollover.

We have 5 lines on AT&T. Two are smart phones. I have my Bold on my company's BES so it is $45 a month (I get to expense that amount, though). My wife has an iPhone for another $30. We have 850 minutes for $60 a month and the other 3 phones are $10 a month each. Total bill is usually just over $200.04-15-10 12:19 PMLike 0 - I have sprint 1500 unlimited data family plan with 2 bb's and insurance on both and after discounts it is about 100 a month.04-15-10 12:36 PMLike 0
- Huh? The iPhone alone is $30 a month for data (it is not on BES). Unlimited text is another $20 a month. What are you trying to say above? You have an iPhone on BES with 2000 minutes and unlimited texts for $35 a month???

That is really cheap for At&t...But I think he missed something. 5 lines and only $200.00 is good too. For 3 Blackberries, 2 are through At&t & 1 is through Verizon and I'm paying about $370 to $380 a month for just those 3!! Now the 2 Blackberry's through At&t have unlimited everything so that may be why. But we don't have a house phone & haven't for about 5 years so we need unlimited calling. I really need to look into our usage & what we need and don't need. Thanks for your response.04-15-10 03:51 PMLike 0
