Wish I could use it but I can't because I have my work Exchange ActiveSync account on my Z10 and I need to use a 5 digit pass code for that.

5 digit passcode? That is VERY unsecure.

Not as insecure as picture password.
    See my post here.

Also, even with a 5 digit pass code if by "digit" you use upper, lower case, numbers and symbols, there are up to 10 Billion possible combinations!
If you mean digits as in numbers, there are 100,000 combinations.

Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Device Password, you will see Device Password n Picture Password, setup the device password to turn on the picture one.

I don't have a BlackBerry to try it, but just based on what I've seen of it, I think Picture Password is a genuine innovation, not just a gimmick. The ability to choose your own picture makes it especially appealing. Like anything new, it must take a bit of getting used to, but I can't imagine it's that difficult.

Question: Is the number array the same each time, or does it change?

It changes and if your number is too close to your spot, it often times doesn't work. It's what I use

I think it's pretty neat. Definitely a different take on device unlocking. A bit slower than a traditional password or PIN maybe, but harder for a bystander to figure out.

I hadn't really paid attention before, but at our morning meeting yesterday I realized I could figure out my boss's password on his iPhone by watching the pattern of his fingers while he unlocked his screen, even though I was 2 seats away and looking at the phone upside down.

Now, he was in a trusted circle and he wouldn't care if I knew his password so he wasn't trying to hide it, but it made me realize how easy it actually is to find out those pattern and number passwords. People could watch me all day long and they aren't going to figure it out.

Love this new feature. I set it up, then bet my girlfriend that she couldn't figure out how to unlock my phone, telling her she could watch me unlock it as many times as she wanted. She watched me do it about 10 times, then decided she was confident enough to try it. Aaand…. not even close!! Haha - she almost locked me out of my phone! It's a brilliant feature.

I usually hate using a password, since it's cumbersome and annoying but i have to say I enjoy using picture password. As mentioned it's hard for anyone to copy or guess your password.

I love the picture password. At first, I was putting my finger directly on my number and trying to move it to the spot on the picture. This was very slow and inaccurate, often taking 3 tries to unlock.

Then I read an earlier post in this thread (by Mr. Monty) that you can place your finger anywhere on the screen and move the entire numbers grid so that one of the instances of your number lines up with the spot on the picture. Presto! Barely a second to get it perfect every time. I use my own photo, and I line up a number with one of the yellow petals of one of the flowers.
