    How would you know which one you have . I have the blackberry curve 8330 but I'm not sure what an OS is. Could someone please explain by emailing me at ... or replying back to this forum. Thank you.

    OS is an abbreviation for operating system. To see which one you have you can to go options>about or type the word myver+spacebar in a text to see your current OS...

    The os (opereating system) is what runs your berry. To see which one you have go to options>about and about the third line down is your os. It should look something like 4.x.x.x. I used x's because there are many out there. You do to the 8330 forum and you should see stickys at the top of the thread list. You have to use the os for your device as they are pretty much device specific.
