    The bedside mode feature on the Legacy devices that allowed you to power off your phone and have it turn back on when the alarm goes off.

    I miss it!! Saves the the battery juice and silences alerts at the same time.

    I would love to see it with the 10.3 update.

    Legacy phones, as far as I am aware (have a Torch 9810) never really turn off... Easier to do.

    Not sure how this is gonna be implemented on the technical side on BB10....

    "No Q10?" -> "Buy from Chen... "

    If it isn't an android app, can android apps even get access? I doubt you'll see one as it sounds like from now on there will be no native apps unless they are made for enterprise. Will enterprise request this?

    I agree, I miss this as well. Whether the legacy devices actually "fully" turn off does not matter, the fact that they used basically no battery over night is the point.

    Exactly!!! It was awesome to have. It wasn't an app or anything Android related. It was a feature built into the OS that pertained to a bedside mode option that was accessible by powering down the device.
    A prompt would appear stating the phone was turning off and would turn back on at 5:30am for example, when the alarm was due to alert.

    It was a convenient feature. It's dearly missed.

    Shutting off and turning back on are hardware features.

    They can't be implemented with an update.

    Perhaps the classic and passport may have it.

    Also, blackberry world is not shutting down, just changing focus.
