I really think they need to be doing like at least one every six months. Maybe a q line in the spring and a z line in the fall.

I suppose the main reason I feel this way is that I have had my z10 foe a year now and it seems old. I kind of regret not waiting to get the z30. But at this point there is no new blackberries in sight save the q20, whenever that comes out.

Also even if a blackberry doesn't need big specs to keep up, I still wish they would fight androids in specs, because it would give people something to talk about.

i agree with you for the most part. but i think bb is doing the opposite with low end phones for different markets right now.

One all touch screen and one with keyboard, once a year would be great. With technology changing on what it seams to be like on a daily basis, it would be a good way to keep up with the industry. In my previous threads I have posted how I got the 9900 and from the time that it came out to the time the z10 came out there had been such a big improvement in devices ( camera,processor,screen qualoty....etc) I think that's when they fell behind big time.

I was gonna say I would rather them make a ultra affordable, and completely capable device. But the problem is BlackBerry can't seem to make competitive devices in any price range.

Their "high-end" offerings aren't as high-end as the $100, off-contract Moto G in some ways and their ultra low-end devices cost the same or more than a Nexus. Seriously, even the 9720, a legacy OS device, launched at $280 off contract.

Hopefully Chen will fix the pricing problems, if not, I fear that an actual high-end device, something that could compete with flagship Android devices in terms of hardware, would cost a small fortune if sold by BlackBerry.
