I still think 10.2 could still be improved and they released 2 devices with 10.3 and blend. They are about to release another device, the classic.

Do you guys think they are putting out too many things? The bb10 os still needs so much work.

That's why they are releasing 10.3. An improvement in the software increases the increment from 10.2 to 10.3. What do you think 10.3 is? It's an improvement on 10.2.

Not a chance are they moving too fast. They have to make up for 5 years of moving too slowly!

This year they've (nearly) released 2 phones for developed countries and 1 phone for developing countries along with a limited release of BB10.3 and Blend and full releases of BES12 and BBM Meetings.

All of that has been within the last 3 months apart from the Z3 staggered releases that started in the Spring. For developed countries there was an awfully long time of nothing between the Z30 release and the Passport. If the releases had been spaced out a bit more evenly it wouldn't feel like they are trying to do everything at once, it's just that they've been working on these products for a year and it's time to let them out of the cages.

10.2.x has been developed, in to 10.3.x. They couldn't have added support for the Passport's gesture capable physical keyboard and support for the Classic's toolbelt and kept the version number at 10.2. It only looks different because someone felt that at the same time as working on all that the UI also needed an overhaul. As much as I don't like flat UI's, 10.3 is less chunky on-screen so it's bit more efficient with screen space. To use it still feels like the BB10 we grew to live with 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2.

It's been nearly a year since 10.2.1 was released which looked the same as 10.0 from newly 2 years ago. The platform needed something to show off to say "Look! We're here with a new looking version of BB10!"

There were enough UI differences from 10.1 to 10.2.1 that made it look nicer/more modern.

    I can't wait for 10.3.1 though.

Holy crap....since when is the next update not an update of the previous version???

If your OS is on a old version it's most likely because of your carrier. If not, then you simply have to wait like everyone else for 10.3.1. That or load up a leak

Each iteration of the bb10 OS is an overall improvement over the previous. I personally think continuous improvement is a must, regardless if it's an iteration of 10.2 or part of 10.3. It's still on going improvements.

If BlackBerry even appears to standstill for as much as two quarters, the naysayers will come out in the masses saying BlackBerry is stagnant and has run out of innovation. IMO, they're not moving too fast, but rather still trying to find the balance between meeting consumer needs and developing quality products. So far, they seem to be doing much better over the last year.
