I can't get this to install! The problem is my computer isn't supported. I am running Windows XP Home Edition SP3. I get a error message stating that I need Windows XP SP2. Is there around this? I want to use the program but I don't wat to go back to SP2 as I have been having better performance w/SP3.
I got the mediasync to work just fine, yet I am running windows xp sp2. I have to admit it works great but, my daughter has an ipod and will have to figure out how to get my music and not hers. Also my 8830 we was recognized after a failed reboot on my pc, had to do a reset on it.
Do I need to have any other programs running i.e. Itunes, Desktop Manager, Media Manager? I am getting a message that says "Please install iTunes and restart the application" I have iTunes installed, Vista and Official Desktop Manager v4.5. Help!!!
I have an 8330 on OS 4.5.0.33. I downloaded and installed Blackberry Media Sync the other day. It wouldn't recognize my BB even though it would show the PIN. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and now it just crashes every time I try to launch it. Anyone have any ideas?
Downloaded and installed, took about 2 min and I was synching my iTunes. works great. I need to order the 8gb card now. my 4 gb will be full in about 5 min.
well now I am hard at work, I have never had the need to free up my iTunes purchases but now I do. Working on getting this Doubletwist program to work.
Cannot understand the big deal the 4.5 desktop update generated, this is way more significant imo. I havent been this happy since I woke up one friday morning and saw that sprint had the curve availible for sale.
I have tried this. however, after my first sync when I reconnect the berry it is trying to redownload my library onto the card again (taking up more space) rather than sync what is already there. any ideas?

Treefrog I'd recommend creating a playlist called Blackberry (or whatever) & just syncing that - I shared a database with my brother for awhile & we just had our own playlist(s) we synced to our own devices. My iTunes is about 20gb and I plan to do the same to cut out everything I don't want.
I've got similar problems to most posters, it finds my BB, reports the PIN correctly but I can't do anything with it. I'm running DTM 4.5.0.015 & a fairly up to date iTunes. I'm time poor this week, but if nobody figures it out I will give it a red hot go later next week & post results if I get it going.
Oh yeh, and when I get a chance to post a screen shot - my BB is reporting that it has 112GB (yes GB) free... I've got a 4gb Sandisk so there is something awry in that - could be that my iTunes DB is on an external USB Drive & its confusing things somewhat.
