Crackberry Charlie
I currently have a 8900, syncing with Outlook. (cal, contacts, notes, to do's)
Too be honest, I have getting a little tired of windows and fancy a change to Linux.
Has anybody also done this?
Is it easy to use a BB with Linux?
Does Google sync work ok?
cheers guys & gals :-)

Yes, you can also do it OTA.
You need linux with Sunbird alone or Thunderbird + Lightning plugin installed. Then you put Google Calendar in the middle and voila!
Blackberry <> OTA Google Sync <> Google Calendar <> Sunbird / Thunderbird+Lightning
Works like a charm
