I know Linux ARK that you build from scratch, can we make one for blackberry that is very similar to OS10 with some improvements and regular updates from the community even after the OS dies? Make it compatible with BlackBerry and Android apps? Is that possible?

Even if you could round up enough talent to get past an early alpha, you can't install it on any BlackBerry device.

BlackBerry could have gone this route but the less expensive option was to license Google Android and modify it for a better BlackBerry experience. The most annoying aspect of BlackBerry Android is the applications are written using Oracle Java.
