Its all Operating System Dependant.
There is no "one" blackberry that is always the fastest.

my 8900 takes about 4-5 mins
it all depends what OS your running, how much stuff you have on your phone ect... a Blackberry is a Blackberry.. all are different and depends on everythign you have in your phone that effects how long they take to start up
Im running 5.0.0.419(hybrid) and boots up in 3 mins. Every phone is different though.
My 9000 takes about 5 minutes. My 9700 is slightly faster at 3.5 minutes.

the boot time will depends on what apps you have , the size of ur SD card as well. the lesser apps you have the faster it will boot.
My 9550 on .519 reboots in right around 3 minutes (3:10 from initial pull until the VZW splash screen is up). This is better than it was on previous OS and on the Bold and Curve.
What sort of numbers are others getting?
The Bold has the fastest processor...........

i would guess the pearl, simply because its smaller in size, but i know almost nothing about the phone so i have no idea
my bold only takes about 45 seconds or so to reboot, if that makes any difference to you
45 seconds? That must be a record!!!!!!
wow 45 seconds?
my blackberry curve takes 6 to 7 minutes to start up. tmobile said "no thats normal for bb curve, the curves are pretty heavy thinkers". so the curve is definitely not the fastest reboot time, might be slowest becasue my vista computer can take faster to start up.
Hold on, is that from when turned off and back on or after a battery pull?

My 8330 takes anywhere between 2-4 minutes from red LED to Sprint splashscreen - so I guess 3 minutes average like others are reporting seems fairly standard.
After booting it takes another 1-2 minutes to get back to a decent running speed (launching my 'always running' apps, connecting to the network, etc).
That is a LONG time if its not a battery pull
when i turn it off my .186 hybrid(8330m) is about 10 seconds
when i batt pull its like 3 minutes
i think i did something wrong
haha
so fast
Like I said.....the bold 9700 has the fastest processor of all the BBs...but then you run into the issue of apps loading and how much media is stored on the phone.

I would say my Storm takes about three minutes with 12 apps ...a few songs and a few videos and about twenty pictures.

I've had a Bold 9700 which I held next to my Bold 9000. My Bold 9000 has tons of apps and also a 8GB card.
Anyways: I did a battery pull on both of them simultaniously and my Bold 9000 won with like 20 seconds from the Bold 9700. Keep in mind that the Bold 9700 was scratch and brand new out of the box, while my Bold 9000 I've been using that 1 for a year now.
I think my Bold has a reboot time of approximately 80/90 seconds (if not less).
If people don't believe it, I'm willing to make a video :-)
From the 9700, 9550, 9000, 8900, and 8220 - the 8900 I feel had the fastest boot times. But generally they're all similar in speed (from my experience).
The 8707v I've been using for the last few days reboots in under a minute.

I believe it because there is a youtube video where they boot 4 different blackberry's @ the same time in the bold 9000 on rogers runing .411 clocked in @ around 1:30 and my tour is about a lil over 2 mins with nothing but the bbm loaded after a clean wipe.

My Bold 9700 is easily beaten by my Bold 9000. If I battery pull both devices at the same time the 9000 wins by about 40 seconds.
The 9000 has 1 less app on it than the 9700 but the 2 boot screen indicators move along at such differing speeds. The indicator on the 9000 is faster moving than the 9700 but when it gets to about 3/4 of the way the rest completes in an instant and that gives it about a 40 second advantange over the 9700.
Thank God Blackberry phones don't need to be re-booted often!!
my tour reboots in just under 2minutes

The 8700 device has the fastest boot time in the past few years.
