I'm wondering if these cloud features will eventually come for BB10. Because as of right now, if you uninstall an app or game and decide to re-install it later you will have none of your previous settings or game data saved. The solution would be to either, keep those settings or game data on the cloud or keep it on the internal drive( before uninstall ask if user would like to keep settings data for future use).

Does iOS or Android have a solution for this? And how should BB10 address this issue?

Android recently introduced "Google Play Game Services." Apps are starting to take advantage of the saving the game data: "Another major feature is support for cloud saves. You can save progress on one device — say, a tablet — and pick up where you left on completely different one."

iOS has had iCloud and GameCenter for years now.

It is still up to the game developers to decide to use these APIs.

I have been waiting for this feature because I have games where I have reached a high level on the phone, and I don't want to start from zero on the tablet.

Some games and apps save settings by starting your game save online.

There is an android RPG that is really good at it. Can't remember the name at the moment.
