I never write to forums but I think this is a good idea what do you think

Now everyone is going to tell me to use the other internet fax services well they do not support Blackberry and cost a lot more.

What is BBFax it is Blackberry faxing option (APP)

Have you ever had a document emailed to you that you that you needed printed out?
This option (app) will help with that For a $?.?? Subscription fee a month the phone will have an option (APP) to Fax the document to any fax number that you send it to.

Hotel, coffee shop, home fax machine or truck stops

The truck stop one is big for us in the transportation industry as I can e-mail trip permits border document and other trip information to my drivers

They (Drivers) take the emailed documents to the truck stop get the fax number open up the documents hit send to BBfax. it ask for fax number the driver puts the truck stops fax number in and its sent

The option (APP) uploads the document to Blackberry servers and sends it via fax to the driver a few minutes later.

Driver walks out of truck stop with a printed document in hand ready to cross the border or hand to the Dot officer

Blackberry needs no make money not the other guys

You never know who else see the documents Blackberry is the most secure way to do business.

Seems like a good idea in theory if it's profitable.

I think it should just be a built in option to fax from the phone. Is compiling a fax transmission very difficult? Are there patents involved? Why can't I just long press a document and hit a contacts fax number and send directly from my phone?

This is already possible via pairing your email with RingCentral's efax service.

When you set up your email on BB10, the permissions automatically transfer over. Therefore, when you compose an email, in the "TO" field you enter the desired fax number followed by "@rcfax.com". And since, you can attach pdfs to emails natively, all you have to do is attach and send.

RingCentral will send you an email confirmation of the transmission.

I've done it time and time again.

I did not know such thing as Ring Central existed. Thank you.
The sad thing is that it is not available yet for the BB10.
Another thing we must miss from the "old" OS7 !
