Blackberry is a Fad!
So way back when, Rim took the market by storm. for me the biggest reason why I stuck with BB for so long was the push email. but now that almost every smart phone device does this, why do we continue to purchase their crap.
They haven't put out a decent device in ages, Rim really needs to pull their socks up and get back in the game. I recently purchased a Nexus One and what a sigh of relief to detach myself from the sinking ship called RIM. The apps I used most were Google apps, (maps, Gtalk, Gmail) so what happens now that Google now has its own Brand of phones. I'm sure you wont see those new fancy apps (Google Navigation, Sky, Voice, Goggles) on a iPhone or BB.
Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am. I have a few friends at RIM and would hate to see them out of a job.
