Not sure if any of you are having a problem with being unable to view your emails due to the "email truncated due to size message", but there seems to be a system problem with RIM and apparently most of us have this problem today 10/8/11.

According to the chatter RIM is aware of the problem and is working on it.

I talked to T-Mobile tech support and they said there was a planned outage this morning at 2am that is still in progress. Of course she couldn't tell me when service will be restored.

I too have had all my emails "truncated due to size."

Out all day with "Message truncated due to size." (erroneous) email messages being sent to the BlackBerry instead of the actual emails.

Hope RIM has a rollback plan - just in case!

We're "truncated" here too in San Diego. BES still comes through, but BIS accounts are out of luck... This is so lame, espec after the App World crash last weekend. Get it together RIM.

Messages still truncated. Outbound emails work, making it through to gmail account. BBM works, and evidently system is limited to the US. My daughter is in canada and her system works fine.

At&T said blackberry is working on it and hoped to be up by noon. Didn't quite make that deadline.

Its happening in Canada as well. I'm located in Toronto with Rogers. I really hope that they have a roll back plan so I can see all the emails that were truncated during this time.

I believe the 4.1 upgrade happened last night (on Cellular South), this morning I received 40 emails that I had already received on my Outlook desktop. Some of these dated back to February. All these emails were Microsoft Infopath emails that I had not been receiving on my phone, only on my Outlook exchange desktop. I switched from a Windows Mobile phone to BB in February and one feature the WM phone had was the ability to see these emails. I lost that feature until this morning and I believe it's because of the BIS 4.1 upgrade. Love it Great!

Sent myself a BIS email with 8.24 MB attachment and it came right through. I'm now receiving the same email on BB as I receive on Desktop Outlook. I can't confirm BIS 4.1 but something changed last night and I'm seeing great improvements in BIS email.

We are back up in SD as well--but no "rollback." Old messages still "truncated." Ugh.
