I am trying to assist a friend on setting up his hotmail account on his new blackberry curve. We keep getting the message: An error occured in email account validation. Please check your information and try again. If the error persists please contact your email service provider. Please help! I hate dealing with customer support.

setup in outlook or windows live first then on BB

From what I have read Hotmail can be tricky for some users. I hope you find a solution.

I have Yahoo and it works great.

i had to set it up through the internet through an official blackberry site...i honesty dont remember how i did it but it did prompt me to have the option of doing it through a blackberry internet account or somethign? you jus gotta fuk with it! my bb makes me ******** and i work for a huge electronics company. I figured it would be so easy....haha
