not that i am aware of. That i remember Blackberry email is only on BB devices.
Yet another reason NOT to use that email address for anything. At least not anything important.
? I use it for important emails all the time its the one I trust the most. My device is usually not very far away from at any given time and I never get junk mail in it either. You can always forward it to a email account you can access from a pc or load it into a file with desktop manager later if its important enough to you.
I would NEVER use it for "important" emails.
As noted, if you are out of cellular range or out of data coverage, you are out of luck.
If your BlackBerry crashes and you haven't backed up the device, you can't access those emails EVER.
If you change phone service carriers, you immediately lose access to that email address.
If you get an email that has formatting that isn't compatible with the BlackBerry, you are out of luck.
If you receive an email with an attachment that is beyond the size limitation of the BlackBerry email, you are out of luck.
And the list goes on ....
.
As a work around, it's advisable that if you insist on using that address that you set up in your BIS an AutoBCC and an AutoForward to another address.
I use that email for mobile downloads...the ones where they say enter your email address and we'll send you the mobile download link.
I use it for all mobile download and blackberry sites.
I also give it out as my "pager/text message" address, if I don't want to give someone my cellphone number. But yeah I mostly use it as a forward out of my secondary e-mail account (if there is something that I know will come into my secondary email account, that I will need quick access to I forward it to my tmo.blackberry.net account.
