Hey Guys.

I just got a blackberry Curve 8330, and for some reason, It will not turn on.
I plugged it in thinking it was the battery dead. It's not I don't think.
I plug it in, the red light comes on. but like 10 seconds if less later, this white screen comes on with a battery symbol with a blue lightening bolt through it.
What does that mean? Can somebody PLEASE help me.

it had a really low battery and has to charge a bit before powering on...i believe

Well I hope so, Because it keeps flashing that white screen.

Happened to my wife once, I just left it plugged in for an hour or so and then did a soft reset (alt+right caps+del). It rebooted cleanly and showed the red battery. I let it charge for a few more hours and it runs fine now.
Sometimes apps will be running in the background and possibly drain the battery. Be sure to close apps when you are done.
