I have a blackberry curve 9300 and recently when i have been charging it the battery icon will jump from about 20% to 100% charged. This means that i have no idea how much battery life i have left and my blackberry will die without warning. I have tried a few solutions i have read such as unticking " enable compression. I have also tried a factory resert and a few new batterys but nothing is working. PLEASE HELP ME.
    Thanks, Lewis

    Welcome to Crackberry!

    Have you updated your OS?
The other thing ..you might want to check the battery connector pins to make sure they are not loose. I had this problem on my Bold...battery would drop in like seconds from 80 to 5 or whatever, and when I plugged in, it would immediately go back to where it was before. Turned out to be a hardware issue for me.

Thankyou so much for replying to my post!
Im not sure how to update the OS. I dont think there are any updates available! I will try the battery pin suggestion and get back to you! How did you resolve your issue? Yours sounds exactly like mine
