BlackBerry announced it is shutting down its operations in Pakistan and will leave the country by 30th December.
Anyone got clue what does this mean actually?
    I got BlackBerry in Pakistan!
After 30th December I won't be able to use sim in my BlackBerry? Or what?

Oh, and your BlackBerry will go poof! Never to be found again.
(Your phone will work just fine.)

    Yes.
The above message only pertains to Blackberry enterprise services. (BES).

Your SIM card and phone will continue to work.

EDIT*** I'm unsure if this pull out also includes the consumer Blackberry Messenger service.

BlackBerry initially refused to provide any customer data to India, ultimately relenting in 2013 to hand over access to consumers' BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) messages and emails.

The Pakistani shutdown means BlackBerry will not operate servers in Pakistan or provide service for Pakistani residents. BlackBerry customers living and operating outside of Pakistan will still be able to access their messages while visiting the country, because their data is stored in servers elsewhere.

Unless the Pakistan Gov counters BlackBerry and simple blocks all BlackBerry NOC traffic. But I expect they have access to BBM messages, so there won't be any reason to go that far. They were only after the BES traffic that they could not access.

Sadly many western nations are now talking about limiting encrypted communications.....
