Jumbo Electronics is the largest retailer in Dubai. I like going to diff malls' retailers and asking them how are bb phones doing. So I went to Deira City Center and asked the representative. Which bb phone is doing the best? He said the Passport is booming! Alot of these Arabs here are lovin it! I asked him about the classic, he said ITS SOLD OUT! DAM IT MAN!!
I WANT BLACKBERRY TO COME BACK TO THE TOP!

But how many units of the classic they actually had in stock. Sounds good right " out of stock" but the truth can be so different. I hope they had a sizeable stock.

Was the same for the Z10, Q10, Z30, Z3 and the Passport. Only device I don't remember the "sell out" notification on was the Q5. OP did you ask him how many devices they have sold.... 5,000, 500, 50, 5?

And let's face it Dubai is a different market from most the rest of the world.

I thought that everything was sold out in Dubai...

I've never been, it's just the feeling I had.

Real estate, cars, phones, chocolate bars... you can still buy them, but they are 'sold out' so it's gonna definitely cost you!

Plane ticket out of Dubai? Sold out! We can probably find you one, but it'll cost you!

I can give you a good price on chocolate bars my friend. A good price. If what chocolate bars with nuts that is extra, but to a man like you I see that would not be a problem.

Middle east have always nice to BlackBerry. Even they have supported BlackBerry big time even with a buggy device 9900 back in 2011.I am glad that finally BlackBerry have released 2 superb devices which deserves some support and acceptance.

Keep releasing devices like passport and it will take them to old glory..

Yes they are very close to BlackBerry. I do handle business operations across South east Asia and Middle East. Most of emails I recieve from clients in middle east have the signature sent from BlackBerry 10 device. In other regions it's all sent from iPhone, note 3 etc..

In and before 2011. All Arabs and I say all of them used to carry blackberrys mostly 9900 9700 like mostly 8520 and bold devices. Passport is being loved by the Arabs

I'm actually a Mars bar type of man, so no need for nuts. However, I would like the caramel infused with gold though, if that could be arranged.

I went to Dubai last month and visited the BlackBerry store. It was so exciting. I saw the Classic and Z3 for the first time, and people asked about my red Passport. It was so much fun in there, and a lot of people checking out the Classic with their old 9900 with them.

It was great to be in there, and I can't wait to go back in a couple months.
