You and me both, but we are a minority. I think this kind of advertising is more evident in movies. Not always planned. Archery had a great year with girls signing up this past year. Want to guess why? The movie Toy Story saved the Etch-a-sketch company from bankruptcy. Just thought I would throw some odd balls out there. But there is power in association and advertisers have an easy medium tying in to celebrities and pop culture. Dr.Dre has now made more money off of overpriced headphones with his name on it than he ever did selling albums.
