Greetings Everyone,
I recently purchased a Blackberry Smart Card Reader v2 for use with a CAC card. smart

After unboxing, I followed the directions of the user guide, to plug into computer and download updated software. However, after downloading the updated software, my Smart Card reader was then stuck in the Reboot Cycle with the red light flashing... kind of how bricked Blackberries will act. I've tried the AppLoader process to reinstall the software but it eventually errors out when reconnecting to JVM. I even saw Java Error 507 appear on the screen.

I called Blackberry and they informed me that no such department existed to help me troubleshoot the device and that I would probably need to purchase another one.... OMFG So with almost no help online, does anyone have a legitimate recommendation on how I could fix this problem? Any help is very appreciated.

Return the device to the vendor for a replacement!
