Does any know what the Blackberry Browser is based on? I know it isn't webkit and it doesn't appear to be Mozilla based.

I'm beginning to think that maybe it is based on the GoAmerica browser referenced in this press release:

Does anyone know what the source of the rendering engine is for the Blackberry Browser? Or did RIM start from scratch?

Options / Advanced Options / Applications will let you select Browser and view Browser Properties.

Most of the modules are associated with Plazmic.
