    Gang,

I'm a huge proponent of how important battery life is. it's not like we can all keep our devices plugged in while out and about.. what's the longest you can remember you're BlackBerry ever going without a charge. My Q10 has gotten close to 17 hours on a semi-heavy dose... My Z10 NOT so much...

Anyone know how the Priv, or Passport is battery wise?

    Cheers

battery life is a relative thing, no. I mean people say 36 hours and I smh...they must not touch the damn phone for a day! Battery life is dependent upon the user and how you use your phone. Do any two people have the same apps and use the phone the same way?

The Passport gets good battery life. Is it some world beating never dying battery? No, but it will last through the day and into the night on a single charge without dying. People claiming to get 2 days of use on it with "heavy use" are full of it, it won't last that long. But a day is all you need.

The Priv battery stinks in my opinion. It's a 4-5 hour battery. It could improve with updates but right now it's obvious to me why BB put such a large battery in this phone. Without it people would be getting 2-3 hours of use out of it. If Battery life is super important I'd avoid it for now and see if a software update fixes it in the future.

Four days was my record on a 9780. Quite the shock when I got a 9900.

I'm OK with my Z10 battery life, could be better but not a problem charging it a couple of times per day , the battery sucks but the device keeps being awesome after almost 3 years.

My Q10's battery can easily last 2 days if I go very easy on it, but there has also been many times where 2 batteries were needed to go through a day.

My Z10 last much longer now.....

Of course that's because I use my Tablet for most everything these days..... so I can get 12 Hours from my Z10 with no problem.

My passport will easily last all day with heavy use. I charge it every night just so it's ready for the next day. My Z30 is the same.

Rocking the awesome Z30,Q10 and the super awesome passport.

I feel ya. Back when BlackBerry was just a good phone and not needing all the extra stuff.. my 8900 was amazing for battery.
