Just read this news, and indeed good acquisition.
They already do have good secure email but what we need is a pro-consumer access at an affordable rate.
    Good job BBRY!

"WatchDox's technology will be offered as a value-added service that complements BlackBerry's Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) portfolio, and will be available with BES12, a multi-OS EMM solution."

I wonder how large their user base is and how this will help attract new clients to BlackBerry. Could be good for the bottom line when all is said and done.

What is your definition of secure email? Cause the moment you send an email out of your internal company, that email travel the same cables as gmail/yahoo/outlook emails.

I think BlackBerry needs to bring back the $5/mo BIS style subscription and open up these services to all BB10 users.

Might end up with the same sort of thing with this acquisition. Hush on 5 per month. The 32.00 for BBM protect seems like a fair number

I would gladly pay 5 bucks a month for secure email like protonmail and secure cloud drives like watchdox.
