    it might be possible if you computer has a built in broadband modem (3G) or if you are using your blackberry's SIM card in a USB broadband modem etc...

    why not just theater your blackberry to your computer?

    No it is not,.

    You can use the carrier's APN provided you have the right equipment and service plan but the blackberry.net APN is only for Blackberry devices.

    I heard that you can only connect to the APN Blackberry.net through a secure tunneling to RIM, whichis only available through an BB device.
