Hi, im looking to get a blackberry 9790, I would like some user opinions on the device and I would especially like to know how long the battery life lasts? I hope its nothing like the 9900 i had but i had ti gt rid of because the battery was so bad (10hrs max) Thanks.

The Battery life is one of the best ones out there, Including the 9810 and 9860 i guess, But i Gartuntee it is nothing like the 9900 Battery, An Update will make it even better, Best Wishes !

# No HD video recording
# No front-facing video-call camera
# No Flash support
# No FM radio

The battery life is a beauty.

This is because of a 480X360 screen.

This is a major factor because it uses the same JM-1 battery that the 9860 and 9900 use.

That's the only reason. The phone still lacks some features.

This test was before the OS7.1 update for the phone

7.1 improves battery life

You can switch-out batteries and that gives you a little bit more than 10 hours (OS7) of talk time. I know the iPhone doesn't have a battery door and I think androids don't either.

Get the 9900 and have two batteries. You're in school. You can put it in your backpack
