    Hello,

I know this thread sounds newbie or useless but I wonder if I should or I shouldn't back up my device for th upcoming OS 10.2.?
When the 10.1 MR update arrived, I didn't backed up my datas and besides the SMS "fuked-up", all my datas were here.
Do you think it may be the same ?

I would "always backup" because of the risk of losing important data... unless you mean whatever happens would not upset you!

I'll be surprised if we ever see the release of BlackBerry 10.2. They'll be sold or broken up or run out of money before it's ever released.

Based on personal experience, I would clear any apps or data over 700mb in size before backing up. It always takes forever to backup and then restore (1.5 hour each) my Z10 when I had like 8gb in apps. Well it might be just my computer, Idk. LOL

I'm not too optimistic about blackberry either, but I don't see why they wouldn't release 10.2, since it is already finished

I hope when they roll out 10.2, after its installed there is an icon that's says "what's new with 10.2". And have the full charge log in a delete able icon.

If you would be affected by losing data then you should be backing up regularly regardless of any updates. I know it's a pain with Link, but... it's a good habit.

If losing your data is truly not an option you can live with, yeah. Back up.
