He said that there was an issue with Provisioning on RIM's Behalf, but the problem was corrected. Emails should slowly start to arrive as BIS now has a ton of emails in que for delivery.
on Sprint with a 8830; yesterday I had the same problem, had to re-provision my phone to get data to work..same thing happenned this morning, had to re-provision to get my data (email, web browser) to work..
Try re-provisioning you phones and see if that fixes it..
I seem to be getting emails now. My phone did talk to the network for a good couple of days it seemed, based on the amount of noise I heard through my computer speakers. Haha!
I have ATT and have received all of my emails thus far. The only problem I am having is ithe shows I have 14 unread emails but when I go into my email account, there is nothing.
Using Sprint -- I received email through 6am today, then nothing after. Just 5 minutes ago I started getting a flood of email again. Looks like email is caught up and working fine for me now.
I think a company in particular Cough Cough RIM cough cough, need to get off their lazy butts and install what the rest of us refer to as a redundant system, that way if something fails, there is another one in its place ready to go. This is quickly becoming BS! Why I have to keep explaining to people when their BB's quit working. How about a nice public update, since they never do tell us what the problem was, or how they plan on keeping it from happening again.
sent an email with my blackberry account to my yahoo account.. it made it to the yahoo account according to my pc browser, but my BB never let me know it got there (both are set up in my phone as well) so i replied to it via my pc.. nothing on my BB.
i'm gonna keep my eye on this kinda crap, if it starts happening often enough, i'll either keep the phone and loose the BiS package on my bill.. or sell the phone for the amount it will take to buy out of my contract and go elsewhere...
