ok, i'm trying to update my email account but i'm getting error messages that won't let me on.

The site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider. "


i get this when clicking the link from BB website. i have verizon, but i clicked other providers links and got the same thing. anyone else having this issue?

Did you recently switch BB devices?

If so, only Verizon can fix that for you. You have to call them with your new BB PIN number.

Are you doing this from your Computer, if so clear you cache from your compter and try again.

Delete the browser history and restart your browser, also and try this link, might work, sometimes when your delete the bookmark and try a new one.

Close the browser after you clear your cache and relaunch in a new /fresh browser.

Do you have a different browser you can try link IE, Firefox, Opera?

Or you are going to have to do a disk cleanup and reboot. I had the same problem with Sprint site before. I had to end up rebooting for it to work.

ok, i rebooted, still doesn't work. i don't have another browser to try it on. what the heck else can i do?

i think you need to create an username and password on teh email setup page on your phone, then go to the BIS site to login.

i have all that and have logged in before. the issue i'm having is that the link to the site is giving me an error message, never getting the chance to even try and log in.

Try setting your browser to always get pages from server and not to automatically. I still believe the page is cache. Have to tried to force the page from the server? I think it is CTL F5

Then it is the cache on your particular machine and not the site. The way to get it to work on your machine is truly delete the cache and cookies. You might have to go to the folder and delete it manually and adjust your internet settings.

Clearing cache AND cookies usually works for me in those situations.
