I'm trying to get into BIS email settings from my phone to add another gmail account.

All morning I've been getting the error "Your device had a problem connecting to the server".

Tried a battery pull and reset. Connection shows as 3G as well.

My Torch was prompted to download an Email Setup Application OTA Update to 6.11.0419.0755 before I could access it. Perhaps they are pushing out the patches/fixes device by device.

Are you able to log in at AT&T's BIS site on your PC?

I am, but it doesn't work as well as the email app and I can't resend service books from online.

Yes you can... Click the help link on the left side. Select "send service books" from the help page...

I find the website more usefull, and easier than doing it from the device...

Click "Help" in the box at the bottom left hand corner. Then click "Send Service Books" on the next page.

I was posting at the same time, but mine took a little longer, since I added a screenshot.

I also find it easier to edit my accounts and add filters/forwarding using the html site on the PC.

After performing the OTA Upgrade, I could both log into BIS online and through my phone.

Lol, that's what I figured, and yes +1 to the website versus the device. However the device one comes in handy when I need to make changes or push sb's on the go

Are all of you on AT&T like me, or are there different carriers also having the same issue?

I am on AT&T, and I just tried accessing BIS via Setup on my device. It worked.

Mine is still inaccessible from the device.

I also haven't received the rumored updated.

On a side note, thanks for the info about the service books. They moved the link from the last time I used it on there. (It used to be on the side I think)

    = probablly related...
Be patient and wait for the update. I am on telus and was just prompted to update when logging in from my device. Use the website in the meantime... If you get an error trying to access the full site from your device's browser (I.e. No computer available) try a different mobile browser, like opera 6

Strange thing happened with my usual bookmarked BIS link on the computer today. Warning came up saying the certificate's no good! This happened with both Firefox and IE. I ended up googling BIS and found a good, secure link to the site.

Telus.blackberry.com is not letting my PIN/IMEI combo in.

And applying the upgrade has soft bricked my 9700 three times today.

6.11.0419.0755 caused me a ton of problems (3x soft bricked) until I upgraded to the leaked .546 OS. That seemed to solve all my problems (coincidence maybe).
