Sorry if this has been asked before. When I use bing it tells me page is not found and I get a white screen with go to homepage on it. Once I hit it it works but it used to go directly to the homepage. Is there a setting that I messed up. Thanks

Started about 2 months ago with me and pisses me off to no end. I'm on Verizon in the US. Not a setting mistake, something has changed.

I don't have those issues. Do you have it set as your default search engine? Maybe delete it and readd it or just reset your search engines to see if that helps.

This has been an annoying aspect of Bing which caused me to change the browser settings to Google

Me too. Haven't figured it out but it's really annoying.

    Verizon sucks. Just more proof.

Another thing that pisses me off.

The add to search function sucks on the browser or Verizon disabled it. Why can't I delete the VZW search and then add bing as a search option. It just doesn't make sense. It is also difficult to add other sites to search. Really on Wikipedia seems to work.

I have my browser set up for on start up show new tabs page. I then start typing. As soon as a letter is typed in the upper right there is a tab. Select that and change it to bing or google or whatever you want. Then when you search it defaults to that search engine.

....please note, beware, BING is moving to force all users of this search engine service to create user accounts, asking for your name, birthdate, and other info so that you must sign in before using the service. IMO ALL of theses big internet American companies want to log and keep all movements and info on everyone, so if it forces you to stop using BING and you start using GOOGLE, even worse.....you may as well put your personal info on a billboard!

They should allow users to enter any search engine they want like DuckDuckGo which is privacy oriented

insandouts, you may notice from tex3523's screenshot that what you are looking for is already possible. You have to add the search that you want to use: How to add a search engine to your BlackBerry 10 browser | CrackBerry.com
