I had a Blackberry at work-but that has ended. I have Shaw internet and cable service at home but they dont offer Blackberry service. I would like to have a Blackberry for my new home business but dont want to drop my Shaw address. What is the most economical option?

I am pretty impressed with the package Virgin Mobile has brought to the table.

Cell Phones - Virgin Mobile Canada

Monthly Cell Phone Plans – BlackBerry bundles– Virgin Mobile Canada

They buy bulk service from Bell and remarket it under their own brand name. That is also the limitation, they do not roam on the other CDMA carrier, so there may be service issues.

The best range of options is from Rogers. You can choose any of the current devices, including the Bold.

In the past, Rogers plans were a data bomb primed to explode is you went over limit. $10 Mb is a huge suprize to many new users with the entry level plan.

That has changed, the current promotion plan insures I will never go over my data cap of 6 Gb.
