    This is really tough.

My 8320 is what turned me into a crackhead.
Amazing messaging and Email, Reception, Battery life, Durability, stability, apps i wanted at the time (Bloomberg/Pandora/Gmaps), served as a decent music player and was easily repairable by the user if your screen was scratched or whatever.

My 8900 was all of that with better speed, apps, browser and screen plus GPS and better battery life.

My 9700 on a shrunken os 6 is great. It is all of the above plus a better browser and i like the interface and its obviously 3G. It is not quite as stable as my 8900 on OS 5, but just like a computer i do a reboot every week or so and it runs flawlessly.

All 3 of those devices are still in service. My 8320 was used by a friend until he got a hand-me-down 9700 from another friend this week. My father still uses my 8900, and when i was showing him something on it while visiting for the holidays i noticed the uptime was over 60 days. He had zero issues, that's impressive. I travel extensively and all of these phones have been nothing but solid.

My SO just got a 9900, and i am in love and enjoyed playing with it and setting it up, but i can't justify $450 dollars when my 9700 literally runs like new. I put a new bezel, battery and battery door on it recently and it looks like it came out of the box. It still does what i need it to, with 3G speeds so i guess i'd have to give the nod to the 9700 for my vote as the best BB ever.
You can run it on OS 5 and have it rock solid, or you can upgrade to OS 6 for some newer goodies. It's got a great keyboard, battery second to none, decent Camera, good GPS, good screen, great reception and audio quality, solid apps, sleek looks and it's still incredibly durable.

For a get done fast, but still have decent media capability phone, the 9700 is awesome and has been for over 2 years.

I am just amazed that all 3 of my BB devices still work perfectly going back to 2007.

IMO the 9700 beats all. When it released it was the most solid blackberry. Extremely durable, and my favourite OS was os 5 so yeah... Could never go wrong with that one. And the back. Gotta love it <3

I'm going with the 9000. When it was released, I was in love. They perfected it (what I wanted in it) with the 99xx by putting a touchscreen and trackpad.

Two of my favorites was the 9800 (being the first real hybrid from RIM) and the Pearl. I would type sooooo fast on it when my company (AT&T) at the time had been giving the managers a choice between that and the 8700c.

My all-time favorite, was my first BlackBerry... 8700c.

I'm voting for my new beastie, the 9790. It's like a 9700 only better, smaller, faster and nicer! .

I will probably have to say the 8900..still going strong, and I still use it from time to time. It has been dropped so many times, but still works like the day I first got it. It also has a great camera.

8700... It defined what the BB was to become (and is still the best KB they ever made.)

7200. Started off my love for the BlackBerry. Plus answering e-mails on the train.

Perhaps the first Bold, 9000. It was, possibly, the last, best and most iconic device of Blackberry's golden age.

For looks, to quote the late CBC sports broadcaster, Ted Reynolds, Bold 9700 "is destroying the field", It already looks vintage!

Another vote for 8330 here. The only weakness of this device was the web browser. It had good call quality, excellent battery life, was a joy to type on, and was tough as nails. It was easily the most durable cell phone I have ever owned.

I used to say the 8330 was the best, but several months into my 9930, the 9930 takes the cake!!

Best looking BB to date, great form/feel, awesome blend of touch/type, quick and snappy OS (for a BB), and for me, quite reliable. With that said, it seems 1 of 3 have issues with locking or nuking. That to means means generally, the 8330 to date has been the most stable device, but for me personally, my 9930 has been rock solid with several fully depleted battery/recharges without issue, and one drop from over 12 feet onto a rock (landed on back) never missed a beat, and sustained a small blemish to the lower left back.

9810, and looking forward to a BB10 Slider (and for RIM to get their branding strategy sorted out: calling a slider and a slab touchscreen device both "Torch" was a stupid stupid STUPID idea.)

9810. It has a better (autofocus) camera than the 9900. I would love to see a modern Style. Update the CPU, memory, BB10, and add an HD FM tuner.

I believe everyone can agree the bold 9900/9930 is blackberry best creation. I can remember about a year ago asking the blackberry god to make a bold touchscreen... and he answered!!!

I have a hard time choosing

9900 is an amazing device and I love using it
    BUT
the 8330 still holds a place in my heart
in 2007 it was an amazing device, lasted forever was so well built, was the messaging power house
It destroyed WinMo6.5 phones. and the First gen iPhone was a completely different Animal they were not the same category at all.
not to mention the best speaker phone in that series. used a 8310... blew away the speaker on my 9700 and my wife's 9800.
