Had quite a few and my favorite thus far has been the 9700. Everything just worked amazingly and had the best battery life of any phone I used....well smartphone anyway.
I have used a 9900 a few times and is one heck of a device, but since I havent owned it, then I cant say for sure. So for me, 9700! My 8100 was a tank too!
With out a doubt, the 8330 was the best Blackberry phone. Is anyone taking a poll?
Best to use this thread as a nomination thread first before creating a poll, since there are more than 10 phones, what would be ideal the top 5 from this thread to be voted on

That makes sense, but this is one of those threads that can last for days
No love for the 9000?! Not my first Berry, but the first Berry I absolutely fell in love with
RIM made a solid move forward with the 9000, a great follow up with the 8900, but they did not keep the momentum I would have liked afterwards
Oh, my vote is for the 9810, the larger screen beats out the awesome kb of the 9900 by only the thinnest of margins though (I hate to wear my glasses).
At the time, the 83xx series was pretty great. By today's standard, it would fall very short.
BUT, I would take a 83xx Body give it an optical trackball over the little rollers, and pack in 9900 specs into that body { and they would fit The 9900 is 115 x 66 x 10.5 mm (79695mm^3) the 83xx is 107 x 60 x 15.5 mm (99510mm^3)}
and I would buy it, the 8330 had a fantastic keyboard for feedback, the trackball navigation was much nicer than the trackpad navigation is and the body was build like a brick!
My vote has to go to the 9700. I think it had the best features (at the time). Great camera, the trackpad (I HATE the trackball) and great battery life.
I started out on a 7290 but found the 8700 to be a real tank. I could throw that thing across the room and it would survive unscathed!
Telus Offered a 7250, which was a TANK I'd seen one run over in a gravelpit by an F150 then get picked up and it worked!
I'm sure on concrete it would have been destroyed but in the gravel pit it just got ground into the ground and came out working, I was amazed! this gravel pit owner said and I quote "These are the best phones, I have 3 backups I hope to retire before I go through them all"
I have to go with the 9900 but I did love my 9700 as well. The 83xx was a great series. A shout out to my old 8120 too. I used it for almost 2 years. A friend then used it for another year and now the middle boy has been using it for about 6 months...it does have an otterbox defender on it though.
