I see threads rather irregularly where someone has spotted a BlackBerry in the wild, or is posting about a celebrity proudly sporting one. While these spots are interesting, I'm hoping that a unified thread where people can share these posts and pics would be more enjoyable, and not fade into the woodwork like individual threads have. Can we make this a success? Maybe even integrate posts that do go up into this one?

I saw one last night at iron man 3 in Jamaica. Saw it from afar but it looked so great.

Saw a couple at the airport just on Thursday (guy in front of me and the fellow behind me) as we were boarding the plane, all of us using our phones for the boarding pass.

It was the trifecta!

I see several on the Metro in DC. But they're mostly government issued 9900.

I have seen a couple of white Torch 9810 and one red 9810.

A handful of older Bold models and Curves.

I saw four Zs on my way to work in Manhattan the other day, including a guy on the elevator getting off at a different floor.

Other than that, I've only seen them sporadically.

Finally saw a guy with a Z10 at work. Didn't want him to think I was hitting on him as I moved close to be sure it was a Z10. Couldn't tell you what he looked like but his phone was gorgeous!

I saw one at the hospital in mississauga. I wanted to talk to the guy who had it, but I had had about an hour of sleep in the last 24 hours so I didn't trust myself to be coherent. Other than that saw a few at my uni. These were all the Z. I've seen legacy devices everywhere.

Currently traveling through SE Asia and have seen them for sale but haven't seen anyone use it. I will say that the girl who set up my Thai sim card knew exactly how to access all the menus with the swipe to configure the phone when I brought it in.

That's good to hear, that at least they aren't a total mystery in some places. I saw a person the other day using a Torch, and as I commented on it, he kind of cringed with a 'here it comes' look. I asked how it was working for him and he was surprised that I knew what he was using and didn't razz him for being antiquated and out of touch. I let him know I've been a long time CrackBerry member, and then he relaxed, we chatted a few minutes, and he might have even joined as I recommended. I've had a couple of members I've met in real life join up, and I see their names from time to time.

No, I'll go in and browse, I'll be stopping near a Best Buy tomorrow, and I can go see one. Not planning to get the Q, and it isn't available yet for my carrier, and they're not getting the Z. But I will go play with one.

A few weeks ago I had check up at the doc's. The receptionist had a 99xx by her computer. A guy who sat by me on a plane a few months ago had a 99xx. Last summer I went out with a group of friends, and one of my friends brought a date. Her date had a 99xx. A coworker has a 9850. That's all the sightings I've seen in the past year. I have, however, gotten a couple comments from strangers about my Z10.
