Hi, so I'm planning to get a pearl from canada (got connection up there).

and I plan to use t-mobile as my carrier, since it's cheap.

I know that they have the cheap data plan from $10/month.

Im planning to get that $10 data plan, since I dont really browse the net from my cell that much, and the main reason is I only need the BBMessenger. (and maybe email.)

so, would that t-mo's $10/mth data plan enables me to use the BBMessenger?
because I can save like $10/month instead of using their data plan for smartphones u know.

You will not be able to use BBM with a generic data plan. If you want BBM, you need a BlackBerry data plan (BIS).

I concur, BB needs a BIS plan..
