I have a verizon 8330, I opened bbmaps and found my location, hit get directions and put in my end point. I then hit start gps navigation and follow myself on the map, but you have to keep hitting "n" or "P" to see the next step in directions.

Is there a way to set it up so as it's tracking me and it gets to a new step it will change the little directions bubble to the next turn?

Nope. Neither BB Maps nor Google Maps provide turn-by-turn. You have to step through each maneuver as you reach it. There is almost certainly a patent on turn-by-turn guidance that BB and Google are unwilling to license.

Yes, you will need to pay for VZNav or Garmin if you want turn-by-turn.

Use amaze gps. It does turn by turn and the most important thing is that is FREE!!!

If you go to map, it will follow youre path and you'll see when you have to turn. I never use the step by step.
