I live in Australia and just heard on the radio some issues surrounding Uber and how the drivers have your phone number after you contact them.

I suppose this could be solved with BBM pins, therefore creating an opportunity for BlackBerry to partner with Uber.

You also have the driver's number. And this can be a good thing, because I've had Uber-using friends who have both called their driver and/or had their driver call them because they left items in the car, and in all cases, got them returned. Can there be occasional abuse? Sure, but on balance, it's really not a huge issue. People are just trying to look for reasons to complain, and a big reason for this is because the taxi companies HATE Uber (and Lyft, etc.) and are constantly trying to get negative press for them.

I think this is good idea we have Voice Calling as well this could really work but I don't think Uber would be interested. BlackBerry need to take up this idea partnership are good.
