I just got my first BB.

I got the 8520 with AT&T but I got the new limited Data plan (200mb).

My question is, can I use BBM over wifi connection and not use my meager 200MB?

    Cheers

i cant see BBM using that much data. i have the unlimited, and with the amount i use my phone for all data purposes i consume under 200MB each month. usually less than 100MB. you should be fine.

Yes, you can. Turn off your Mobile Network, turn on WiFi and go to town. I did
this a lot last week while laid up.

Yes, if WiFi is present and working, the device will use the WiFi connection for all data services.

I have semi broken devices and the Wifi works on them... With out being activating on VZW. And...... I can load web pages, run app's, etc.....
