The Stickers have nothing to do with BBM Channels. The Stickers are the big emoticons used in the regular BBM chats you have with you're contacts. Is actually nice they let you know new stickers are available.

I know what stickers are, I'm a grown up man (some might argue there) and I don't use "stickers" especially power puff girls lol, so no, it's not nice to let me know they're available.

While at it I'd like the ability to remove the BBM Shop from my BBM, I don't like anything wasting resources.

To be fair to him, that is a promoted Channel post ABOUT stickers rather than stickers alerting you of new stickers.. hence its placement in the channels tab because it's coming from the BBM Channel Account

I agree with you, I will never use that pack of stickers also I think because I use the channels I'm ok if they push to the feeds sometime this kind of advertising. I don't feel is that invasive. Some of the channels can actually be very interesting and instructive and yes some are bad. But probably what is bad for my taste is great for others (who am I to judge) .

It could be a uk thing. I'm in the u.s. and have been using channels since the beginning and i've never gotten a sponsored ad...is it possible that one of the channels he's subscribed allows for ads? Maybe there is a setting for allowing ads.

...well then maybe due to the z3 being the "budget friendly" model they incorporated ads in bbm in order to draw in more revenue. Ask in the z3 forum to see if other owners get them too. If they do then i guess you're stuck with the ads,....unless you get a z10.

Z30 and never had a sponsored ad. I'm actually hoping I get one just to see what it is like. Bbm channels are education, interesting, funny, eye candy inspirational and so much more. I go on a few times a day and keep adding more and more. Bbm channels really is a smart idea.
