When I had my Z10 on 10.0 I could download files through the browser, it wasn't straight forward, you had to click on "save link as" or something like that.

Now on my Q10 I can't download anything, the browser can play the files but not download them.

    Am I missing something?

Don't have a Q10, but maybe a keyboard shortcut? (guessing here)

I'm not 100% certain that it's gone altogether, but I haven't seen the "Save linked file" option on my Z10 since the last 10.1 update, now that you mention it.

On 10.0 it was a long press on the download link and the option would pop up from the side, on 10.1 it's missing.

This is a big annoyance right now.

Press and hold the image/video/link and hit "save linked file" in the right pane. You'll find it in File Manager > Device > Downloads.

Thanks it just worked for me. Although it might be page dependent (or even due to browser settings) as I can't get it to work on a particular site, it only autoplays. Thanks though, I thought I'd lost it.
Belfast. Maybe visit this URL and hold down on the headphones icon and see if it doesn't work:

So I just tried it on the latest vector 13 post on Crackberry.com. If I press the "download directly" link it plays the audio podcast directly in the browser, if I press and hold the link, I can save the linked file. Too bad if this is missing in 10.1.
