I used to own an Android phone with a Gmail account. Understand that it has the ability to sync LIVE for both my Contacts and Calendar.
I wanted to be able to the same for my BB9790. I'm a Newbie and would appreciate anybody who can for sure share it step by step. Many thanks in advance!

I have gmail synced with my bb. Just download google sync. I also have a live account. You can go into your email setup on your phone and turn sync on or off.

Setup > email accounts > select your live account > edit > sync options > check mark contacts

Yep, Google Sync will do the trick for you.

i concur with google synch. i don't currently have it installed, but i noticed that gmail automatically synchs sent/received emails, very fast.
