BB and Skype

Does anyone know if BB supports Skype?

I use iskoot as well. Iskoot doesn't use data for the call instead it calls a local number which in turn calls the number you are calling.

I use it all the time and works great.

I've never read much about skype....what does it do and why would I need it??
