No model will currently work on both. Wind uses the 1700mhz AWS spectrum, same as Mobilicity, and TMobile in the States. You would be able to take most phones to Bell or Telus, except for the Storm and Style.
Is it not true that if some work, they do so 'sub-optimally'? in other words, one will work on 3G on one network but in Edge on the other (and vice-versa).

Yes if you use a Rogers phone on Wind's network, you will get EDGE and vice versa. I just hope Wind gets the iPhone 4s or 5 whatever it will be called so I can finally get some great plans for cheap with a great phone.
