The 8900 is basically a dumbed down version of the bold that is on tmobile and lacks 3G and basically lacks perfection also ; ). In the future please search before posting. There are literly COUNTLESSSS threads on this also various reviews and videos comparing them ; )

There quite a few differences between the two devices. Instead of typing out all the differences, easiest way to compare the devices is using the following: BlackBerry - Compare PDAs - BlackBerry Smartphone and PDA Solution Comparison.

Interesting way to look at it, BUT many prefer the 8900 over the Bold. Mainly because it's cheaper, more compact and has more App memory. It's also on Tmo so you save a few ducats on the montly fee too (of course service may not be as good as ATT or "the Network")
The simple answer is 3G. The Bold does have it, the 8900 has everything else in a Curve form factor.
The Bold has a slightly faster processor, but the 8900 has 256 Mb of memory, twice the addressable memory installed in a Bold. The Bold does have an extra 800 Mb of non addressable memory and both will accept huge media cards.
If you can use 3G, the Bold is your best choice. Out of 3G range, go with the 8900.
And just to feed off of Mr. McLay's 3G answer: when using 3G in an area that is within 3G range, it will suit you for more than faster internet. The ability of data to come through while on a voice call. So a BBM, pin message, or e-mail will go straight through to your phone while on a voice call.
