    I had a Black Jack and it doesn't have PINS. That phone was just horrible to me as well.

    I'm fairly certain that PINs are strictly a BB thing.

    The Blackjack might support IM clients like AIM, or MSN, you could communicate that way, or standard SMS.

    RIM and Samsung do not play well together.
    RIM uses it's own proprietary Blackberry Device Software on the Blackberry.
    Samsung uses Windows Mobile on the Blackjack.
    Blackberry Messenger requires the Blackberry Device Software.
